Showroom Orders


Randolph showroom orders are currently not configured as a "true" point of sales for a distinct Retail Store location.  There is no dedicated showroom Stock location configured to fulfill POS orders. All showroom orders are instead an extension of the Web Store experience.  Orders placed via the Shopify POS for the RandolphUSA store must be marked UNFULFILLED so that the standard ShipStation fulfillment process can be followed. The ShipStation fulfillment is designed to relieve warehouse stock from CSI for the items ordered.


POS orders are tagged with SHOW ROOM ORDER so that the warehouse fulfillment team is informed to deliver the showroom parcel to the front Office Area.


NOTE: a shipping address must be entered on the POS Order for ShipStation to retrieve the order for fulfillment.




ISSUE:  POS Orders do not appear in ShipStation


To Disable Shopify POS Orders from Automatic Fulfillment

  • On the Shopify POS Device
  • Login to the POS APP (e.g. use Staff member PIN)
  • Go to the "Settings" menu 
  • Under "Orders", toggle OFF the option "Mark in-store order as fulfilled"


With this setting disabled, orders processed through Shopify POS will be marked as Unfulfilled.

Orders shall need to be processed via ShipStation (or manually mark items fulfilled using the Shopify Admin)


Note: Pickup in store online orders will always need to be manually fulfilled regardless of this setting.
