When repairing a computer system it is important to know if the system is protected with encryption.

Randolph uses Bit Locker encryption so recovery using the system keys may be required after a system repair.

Review the Device within Azure as a Device Administrator to obtain the recover keys.


For Lenovo Devices:

  1.  Use the Lenovo Vantage App (Or Lenovo support Web Site)
  2. Click on "Device --> Power" to reveal a "See Battery Details" button
  3. Click on the button and capture a screen shot for the support technician.




Also, from an Elevated Administrator Command Prompt, Enter:   powercfg/batteryreport 

This command will prepare a battery report into a file and display the path to the output. 


Open the file in a browser, print it to a PDF file, and provide the report to the technician.
